This is my “Tiki Garden” backyard in Portland. All four of the palm trees were purchased from Raintree Tropical in around 2017, and they’ve been growing so steadily ever since!
I absolutely LOVE palms. They are by far my favorite plant for both indoor and outdoor decor. They pair perfectly with classic northwest trees and shrubs or drought-tolerant plantings, and add a very unique and tropical feel to any type of yard.
My favorite palms are the Chinese Windmill variety because the leaves are so bright and happy looking, and they grow so quickly! I also love watching them sway in the breeze on a windy day. It’s so relaxing and beautiful!
